Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan

Situated in the center of Hilir Perak, Teluk Intan (meaning Diamond Bay) has its own version of the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy.

This town's main attraction was built by Leong Choon Cheong, a chinese builder, and it started to tilt four years after its construction due to underground stream.

Unfortunately, we neither have enough time to go inside the tower nor to other places as it was already in late afternoon and it rained so hard that we had to remain on our location and wait for it to stop. While waiting for the rain to stop, I had a conversation with a local guy and told me there are still something other than this pagoda.

The rain has stop, and the sky was almost dark. Two of my companions already left as they had prior commitments. Now what are we going to do?

Someone had told us that this tower is lighted up at night and create an amazing night view. And so we waited for a few hours before we experienced a fascinating view of Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan.

Hope to get back there soon and check on the other places the local guy had told me.

See you again Teluk Intan!!!
