Rediscovering Lubuk Timah

I can't help but admire this very beautiful view of an abandoned reservoir. The place is called Lubuk Timah which is situated near Simpang Pulai. The dam is almost abandoned that the water spills over it, thus creating a curtain-like waterfalls on the center and stairs-like waterfalls on both sides that create a very refreshing view to watch, and cold white water for bathing.

Going there at first is bit confusing as the signs for directions are so small and the road is unnoticeable, not to mention that they are rough too.

The waterfalls are a few hundred meters away from the road where you can park your car and the pathway going there is kind of muddy and rocky at the same time.

I enjoyed taking a bath under the strong current and painful but relaxing hit of waterfalls in my skin the first time we went there. And so I took another trip alone this time to capture its beautiful and marvelous images. Please note that it is not advisable going here alone as the place is secluded and the water is treacherous at times.

What a perfect getaway to refresh and relax, get some beers and barbecue. A very beautiful scenery's for photo enthusiasts, and wonderful place for families to enjoy the weekends.
